On the 3rd, hopefully we see an update, but it seems the biggest pain making this game was animation and being handrawn. I've seen something stating that it's in the works, but nothing on a hard date yet. On your first critique, sounds like you know this it's coming. There's an Expert Mode that's unlocked once you beat the game hinted by the achievs, but haven't unlocked it myself yet. I've been doing "Regular" 100%, but my friend has been beating bosses on "Simple" first and has told me that "beating them doesn't count unless you beat them on Regular". When you first play through the game, you get the choice of "Simple" or "Regular". Overall I'm looking forward to the rest of my playthrough and seeing what other surprises the game has in store.ĭid you play on normal or hard difficulty? I've been playing on regular my whole play through and so far the difficulty seems very fair. The boss variety is this games strong suit and it's been rewarding a few times to retry a battle and discover a new attack/phase that wasn't used in the previous attempt. One of my biggest concerns going in was getting tired of the bosses after losing so many times but that has yet to be the case. StudioMDHR really nailed the 1930's cartoon aesthetic to a T and it's made for a wholly unique experience.
